LDF

A bold identity for the worlds largest design festival

London Design Festival is the UK’s largest festival for crafts and design, with over a half million visitors and 4000 exhibitors.

This year’s identity centres around the idea of ‘form’ and stems from physical letterforms, which were translated by myself into the graphic language. Black has been introduced to the familiar red and white colour palette—this accentuates the type and gives the identity a bold three-dimensional quality. With so many locations and applications, the LDF identity needs to be flexible enough to work across many different digital and physical platforms, at different scales and when both static and moving.
